Itinerary:
08:00 Hotel transfer or meet at our office where we will take a van to Ban Pha-Nom, a
famous weaving village’ near Luang Prabang, where you will see how they weave
sarongs or ‘sinh’ and other handicraft textiles. Afterwards, we continue our drive,
following the banks of the Nam Khan into the idyllic countryside to our All Lao
Elephant Camp. At our Elephant Camp we will take a break where you’ll have the
chance to feed the elephants.
09:20 Walk cross the local bamboo bridge where we will start hiking from the village
of Ban Suan. Then hike uphill to the Hmong village of Ban Tin Pha where we will take
a lunch break either in the village or in the shade along the stream.
14:00 Afterwards, we hike to the ‘khamu’ village of Ban Fai which is an animist village
Explore this village and engage with the children.
15:30 We continue our trek to Tad Sae Waterfall where you can go swimming in the
many cascading pools, go ‘monkey jumping’, or simply relax. We cross back the
Nam Khan by longtail boat toBan Ansavanh for a van transfer back to Luang Prabang.
Remark: We offer 3-4 or 4-5 hours of hiking time durations (your choice).
